My goal nowadays is to practice being at ease, every moment of this journey called life so I may experience life in its Divine form. For me, being at ease means to be present every moment, to be aware of my breath, my thoughts, my actions, my words and to consciously breathe with ease. That means to consciously relax my abdominal muscles and watch my whole being relax. As simple as that. Especially when external stressors are high.
When I practice this kind of mindfulness I notice I am able to handle any situation with grace and clarity. The external stressors are always there doing their thing but being at ease helps me to perceive and handle the stressors better and not get carried away with compulsive reactions that would cause a sense of dis-ease.
Maybe if I had learned this earlier on in my life I could have avoided falling sick with the autoimmune disease. Maybe! I cannot know for sure. It definitely feels right to be at ease.
Definitely, there is more clarity of my mind, action, words when I am at ease. I still have a long way to go in making this a default way of living, but I am grateful to the Divine, that I have come this far.
Wishing you love and ease!
