In 2011, six months after my diagnosis, my family and I  visited my parents in Chennai in southern India. A chance meeting with another spiritual lady, culminated in me meeting Sanda Spasic. Sanda is a Kinesiologist from Germany, who moved to India to live in Thiruvannamalai, a three-hour car drive from Chennai city.

With her guidance and help, I was able to completely wean myself off the steroids. With the help of Ayurvedic, homeopathic, and herbal remedies carefully tested by Sanda every step of the way I have been able to get back to almost normal without any steroids or strong medications. Except for one major flare up in 2017 that took me back to the Emergency Room I have been off steroids completely. Some stress triggered a severe flare up and I had to go back on steroids for a period of two months including the weaning phase. Again Sanda helped me to get back to natural remedies.

What makes Sanda unique is that she has her own story of the battle with Lyme disease. She can relate experientially to the pain and suffering of another. Sanda lives in Tiruvannamalai from October to April. The rest of the year she travels to Europe and United States to offer personalized treatment to people in need.
