Surya Kriya – being in sync with your body mind and breath

There were many positive takeaways from this class.
Venue:
The studio was large, and Vidya made sure to follow Covid protocols to keep it very clean. The space was calming and serene. Vidya’s calligraphy on the black board, started the morning with positive affirmations.
Vidya – Guru ( my teacher)
It was a true blessing to have Vidya as my Guru for this Surya Kriya session. She was articulate, calm and extremely patient. She explained the asanas and body alignment so clearly that I was able to understand my body and visualize the alignment for myself within a few days. This was absolutely transforming.
The Class:
Having attended Vidya’s class, I can confidently say that I am beginning to understand the energy within me, my breath and body / mind awareness and alignment. Sadhguru’s talk excerpts, the yoga asanas video, the explanation of mistakes and corrections was immensely valuable.
I was extremely sore on the second day of class and was a little inhibited. But walking in and being in Vidya’s presence made me completely calm and my body had forgotten the soreness completely.
Learnings
I believe that having a guru who is dedicated, committed to the cause and teaches you with patience is especially important for a yoga student. Vidya was all this and more.
I understood that the body/ mind and the breath have to be in sync to do the asanas the right way and I noticed that my body was energized after the session and not tired.

I would recommend Vidya’s class a 100%. Thank you Vidya for being a kind and giving Guru.
